Canton Fair 2024 (China Import and Export Fair)

Canton Fair is a biannual trade event held in Guangzhou, China. It is the largest and oldest trade fair in China, attracting thousands of exhibitors and buyers from around the world. The fair showcases a wide range of products across various industries, including electronics, textiles, machinery, and household goods. Canton Fair F&Q

Overseas new buyers (never applied for buyer badge) can register and apply for the badge from the official site of Canton Fair through the link User Login (cantonfair.org.cn) . It will require you to fill in your personal information to finish the registration such as company name, address, telephone number, and your full name, passport number, nationality and your image used for the badge.

After you finish the registration, an E-invitation letter will be created automatically, then you can use it to apply for the visa to China.

If you have successfully completed pre-registration you can collect first Buyer Badge for free! In the appointed hotels or Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, buyer badge can be applied in advance, and replacement (lost or forgot to bring the badge) will be free!

Note: Your previous Canton Fair overseas Buyer Badge is still valid in this session, and you can directly enter the Complex with it.

Time: Every Spring (April 15 to May 5) and Autumn (October 15 – November 4) 9:30 – 18:00

Taxi: about 50km, 1 hour and half, cost around 180RMB US$26

Metro: Take line 3 to the station of Kecun, then transfer to line 8 to Pazhou or Xingangdong Station. It take about 1 hour and half, cost about US$2

By Bus: You can take the bus from HK international airport to downtown of Guangzhou.

1. Take a taxi or metro to Hung Hom Station, then by train to Guangzhou East Railway Station

By Ferry: You can take the ferry from HK airport to Guangzhou or take a taxi or metro to China Ferry Terminal (China Hong Kong City) to Pazhou, which is just next to Canton Fair Complex http://www.cksp.com.hk/

  • Get up earlier and have a good and full breadfast, get to the complex earlier, and you can finish the work earlier. We suggest you to leave the complex before 5:30 pm because after that the traffic will be cazily bad. The best way to get out the Canton Fair Area is to take the subway for a few stops, from where you can take a taxi easier.
  • The first day of each phase will be crowded and in the last day the exhibitors are all busy packing things and eager to catch their flights back home, so the best visiting days are the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th day.
  • Lunch time: The canteen will be super crowded during 11:30- 13:30, so we suggest you to go their earlier or later.
  • Bring a tollery bag with you, you will get a lot of catalogues and samples from different exhibitors, and it is too heavy to carry them all day.
  • Take some business cards with you, you will be get more trusted by the exhibitors there if you have it.
  • Put on some soft shoes and clothes, you have to walk all day.
