A Factory Visit to Quanzhou for Sportswear and Footwear
In May, I had a sourcing trip with a client from UK to Quanzhou, Fujian—a well-known manufacturing hub for sportswear, athletic shoes, slippers, and socks in China.
During the trip, we visited several factories across Jinjiang and Shishi, each specializing in different product categories. Client thought it was a very constructive trip.
✅ Factory A – Trusted Sportswear Manufacturer in Shishi
Factory A is a large-scale sportswear manufacturer located in Shishi, with around 2,000 skilled employees and advanced production equipment. They specialize in custom-developed fabrics and have years of experience producing high-performance sports and athleisure apparel.
Clients has been working with this factory for over two years. During our recent visit, we worked together to fine-tune some sample details and resolve minor issues from the last bulk order — a testament to the factory’s openness and professionalism.
Factory A is a trusted OEM partner for globally recognized brands like YONEX, FILA, UMBRO, SKECHERS, JOMA, REPLAY, TOPPER, TRESPASS, and HUMMEL. With their consistent quality, strong technical team, and efficient operations, this factory is a great fit for brands looking to scale up their sportswear collections.
✅Factory C is a large-scale manufacturer based in Jinjiang, specializing in slippers and sandals. It was the first company in China to invest in the R&D of EVA slippers, and it now serves as an OEM factory for major brands like ANTA, LI-NING, and PEAK.
The factory is highly professional, with advanced equipment and strong production capabilities. Their product quality is excellent. However, their MOQ (minimum order quantity) is relatively high compared to smaller factories.
✅Factory D is in Jinjiang and specializes in running shoes, sneakers, sports shoes, and casual footwear. The factory is well-managed with clean and organized workshops. Their R&D team has rich experience and strong technical expertise.
They are an OEM supplier for well-known brands such as Clarks and Skechers, and are recognized for their quality and professionalism in the footwear industry.
✅Factory E is a well-established socks manufacturer based in Jinjiang. The owner has been in the sock business for over 50 years and truly knows the craft inside out.
They focus on making high-quality sports socks, knee-highs, hiking socks, running socks, football socks, and functional styles that are odor-resistant and sweat-wicking. The factory works with many well-known brands both in China and overseas as an OEM partner. During the visit, the client found the owner to be highly trustworthy and experienced — someone they could see real potential in working with long-term. As a result, they asked for a quote on the spot, were happy with the pricing, and left samples for the factory to start prototyping.
